I was looking through my bookshelf the other day when I stumbled upon my Orchard Lake Middle School yearbook. I was definitely not looking for a yearbook but more importantly the NBA Encyclopedia I had from 2000. I had not looked at that yearbook in years and figured I take a quick gander at it before I checked the games played and points scored by the great Vinnie Johnson.
What does it say on the cover of the yearbook "1988-1989". That can't be. That means this year will be 2o years since I graduated from middle school. Does that even sound right? That means it will also be 20 years since I started high school this year. I am an accountant but the math does not add up.
I am really that old? I guess the answer is yes. If 20 years goes that fast, my kids will be in college in another 20 years.
I wonder if I am having a mid life crisis a little early. I guess only time will tell.
